Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 apple sliced
  • 0.25 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Dressing
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roast Brussels sprouts until golden and crispy.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy.
  4. Lightly sauté apples.
  5. Whisk dressing ingredients.
  6. Combine all ingredients and toss with dressing.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Add cheese for extra richness if desired.
