Ingredients
  

Starburst Syrup
  • 10-12 Starburst candies unwrapped
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar optional
Cocktail
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz lemonade chilled
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Cocktail glasses

Method
 

  1. Melt Starburst candies with water over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Simmer briefly until slightly thickened. Cool slightly.
  3. Dip glass rim into syrup and create decorative drips. Chill to set.
  4. Shake vodka, lemonade, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice.
  5. Strain into prepared glass over fresh ice and garnish.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing simple syrup. Chill glasses for best drip effect.
