Ingredients
  

Strawberry Syrup
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Mascarpone Cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Layers
  • 24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries

Method
 

  1. Cook strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice until soft to create strawberry syrup.
  2. Mash and strain the mixture, then allow syrup to cool.
  3. Beat mascarpone until smooth.
  4. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dip ladyfingers into strawberry syrup and arrange in a layer.
  7. Spread mascarpone cream and add strawberries.
  8. Repeat layers and refrigerate before serving.

Notes

Chill at least 4 hours for best flavor and texture.
