Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets 6–8 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
Honey Butter Glaze
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced

Equipment

  • Skillet or grill pan
  • Small saucepan

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon dry and brush with olive oil.
  2. Season salmon evenly with spice mixture.
  3. Cook salmon in a hot skillet or grill pan until flaky.
  4. Melt butter and stir in honey, garlic, and lemon juice.
  5. Spoon honey butter glaze over salmon and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook; salmon is best when just flaky.
