  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm water with sugar.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and butter. Knead until smooth and let rise.
  3. Cook ground beef with seasonings and stir in cheese.

  5. Boil briefly in baking soda bath.
  6. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle salt, and bake until golden.
