Ingredients
  

French Toast Base
  • 4 cups brioche bread cubed
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Strawberry Layer
  • 1.5 cups strawberries chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Vanilla Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese optional

Equipment

  • Muffin tin or ramekins
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Soak brioche cubes in custard mixture.
  2. Bake until golden and set.
  3. Prepare strawberry glaze.
  4. Whip vanilla cream sauce.
  5. Assemble and serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Best served warm for soft custardy texture.
