Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 lb lobster meat chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 0.5 cup celery diced
  • 0.5 cup carrots diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp thyme fresh
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté vegetables in butter until softened.
  3. Whisk in flour, broth, and cream until thickened.
  4. Add shrimp and lobster, then transfer to baking dish.
  5. Top with puff pastry, brush with egg wash, and vent.
  6. Bake until golden and bubbling.
