Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 1 pinch salt
Filling
  • 4 Oreo cookies whole

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and grease ramekins.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Whisk in powdered sugar, eggs, yolks, and vanilla.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa, salt, and red food coloring.
  5. Fill ramekins halfway, add Oreo, and top with batter.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set but center soft.
  7. Invert onto plates and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overbaking to maintain molten center. Serve immediately for best lava effect.
