Method
- Clean mushrooms with a damp towel and trim stems if needed.
- Prepare three bowls: flour with salt and pepper, whisked eggs with milk, and breadcrumbs with spices.
- Coat each mushroom in flour.
- Dip mushrooms into egg mixture.
- Roll mushrooms in breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
- Fry mushrooms in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with ranch dressing, garlic aioli, or spicy mayo for extra flavor.
