Brownie Base
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 tsp peppermint extract
  • 0.5 cup crushed peppermint candy

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Combine butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients and spread into pan.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes and cool slightly.
  6. Spread melted chocolate layers and top with peppermint.

Notes

Let topping fully set before slicing for clean layers. Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
