Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 pcs salmon fillets skin on or off
  • 1 cup fresh mango diced
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Equipment

  • Skillet or baking dish
  • Saucepan
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Combine mango, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer and thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  3. Season and cook salmon until nearly done.
  4. Brush salmon with glaze and finish cooking.
  5. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Use ripe mango for the best natural sweetness.
