Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup water cold
  • 0.25 cup milk

Equipment

  • Deep frying pot

Method
 

  1. Whisk flour, cornstarch, baking powder, sugar, and salt together.
  2. Add cold water and milk, whisking until smooth.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F.
  4. Dip fish into batter.
  5. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
