Method
- Activate yeast with warm milk and sugar.
- Mix flour, salt, yeast mixture, butter, and egg to form dough.
- Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
- Allow dough to rise until doubled.
- Roll dough into rectangle.
- Spread butter and sprinkle cocoa, cinnamon, sugar, and chocolate chips.
- Roll dough and slice into rolls.
- Allow rolls to rise again.
- Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.
- Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
For extra richness add dark chocolate chunks to the filling.
