Ingredients
  

Chickpeas
  • 2 cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic smashed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Kitchen towel

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Dry chickpeas thoroughly and remove loose skins.
  3. Warm olive oil with garlic cloves, then remove garlic.
  4. Toss chickpeas with garlic oil and spices.
  5. Roast 30–35 minutes, shaking pan every 10 minutes.
  6. Cool completely before serving for maximum crunch.

Notes

Do not store airtight. Re-crisp in oven if needed.
