Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package puff pastry 2 sheets, thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk for icing

Method
 

  1. Cook strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice until thickened.
  2. Roll and cut puff pastry into rectangles.
  3. Fill, seal, and brush with egg wash.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.
  5. Mix icing and drizzle over warm pastries.

Notes

Cool filling completely before assembling to prevent leaks.
