Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 250 g spaghetti
Shrimp
  • 400 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté shrimp in olive oil until pink, then remove.
  4. Melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add broth and deglaze the pan.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
  7. Combine pasta and shrimp with sauce.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp; add pasta water if sauce thickens too much.
