Ingredients
  

Patties
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Assembly
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips bacon cooked crispy
  • 2 brioche buns toasted
  • lettuce, tomato, red onion as desired
Spicy Garlic Sauce
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

  • Mixing bowls
  • Skillet or grill

Method
 

  1. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate.
  2. Divide beef into four portions and shape patties, seasoning both sides.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy, set aside.
  4. Cook patties in skillet or grill 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. Add cheddar to patties during last minute, cover to melt.
  6. Toast buns lightly.
  7. Assemble burgers: bottom bun, lettuce, tomato, first patty with cheese, bacon, second patty with cheese, onion, top bun.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust sauce spiciness to taste. Use high-fat beef for juicy burgers.
