Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 1 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 1 cup hot water
Milk & Sweetener
  • 0.5 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sugar to taste
  • 0.5 tsp lemon juice optional

Equipment

  • Kettle
  • Heatproof cup
  • Strainer
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5–7 minutes.
  2. Strain out flowers and sweeten the tea while warm.
  3. Add milk and stir gently to combine.
  4. Add lemon juice if desired to change color.
  5. Serve hot or over ice.

Notes

Adjust milk and sweetener to taste. Lemon juice will turn the drink purple.
