Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf crusty bread Italian or French
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Spread garlic butter evenly over bread.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously on top.
  5. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crust, watching closely.

Best served immediately for maximum crunch.
