Method
- Cook tortellini in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Sear steak in hot olive oil until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and rest.
- Slice steak against the grain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently.
- Stir in parmesan until smooth.
- Add tortellini and steak, tossing to coat in sauce.
Notes
For best texture, avoid boiling the cream. Reheat gently with extra cream if needed.
