Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink then remove.
  4. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in paprika and cook briefly.
  6. Add chicken broth and simmer.
  7. Pour in cream and cook until slightly thickened.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  9. Return shrimp to skillet and coat with sauce.
  10. Finish with lemon juice and parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
