Ingredients
  

Gnocchi Bake
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced or shredded
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and cook onion until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in flour and cook briefly.
  5. Whisk in broth and cream until thickened.
  6. Season and stir in Parmesan.
  7. Add chicken and gnocchi, then transfer to baking dish.
  8. Top with mozzarella and bake until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep the sauce creamy.
