Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup milk
Cinnamon Filling
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Frosting
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients with milk to form dough.
  5. Roll dough, add cinnamon filling, and roll into a log.
  6. Slice into rounds and bake 10–12 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Prepare frosting and drizzle over cookies.

Notes

Chill dough log briefly before slicing for cleaner swirls. Do not overbake for soft texture.
