Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Filling
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese optional
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add water and oil to form dough.
  2. Knead dough until smooth and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. Divide dough, flatten, and fill with cheese.
  4. Seal into balls and let rest 15 minutes.
  5. Brush with garlic butter and bake at 350°F for 15–18 minutes.
  6. Brush again with garlic butter and serve warm.

Notes

Best served fresh for maximum cheese pull.
