- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.
- Cook ground beef in skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in diced potatoes and butter. Cook 5–7 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add milk and half the cheese, stirring until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with remaining cheese. Bake 15–20 minutes until bubbly. Broil 2–3 minutes if desired.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Can add vegetables for extra flavor and nutrition. Store leftovers in airtight container.
