Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Sauté onion and garlic in a little butter. Add beef, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into rectangles (~3x4 inches).
- Place beef mixture and cheese in center, fold and seal edges. Brush with egg wash.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm. Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
