Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups

Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 2 Puff Pastry Sheets thawed
  • 2 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Egg beaten for egg wash
  • Optional Garnish Fresh parsley or mini pickles

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a little butter. Add beef, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into rectangles (~3x4 inches).
  4. Place beef mixture and cheese in center, fold and seal edges. Brush with egg wash.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter.
  6. Bake 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm. Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
